Minor drawback

It's raining again. I suppose I should be pleased, because this will ensure that my spring will run for years and years again, but it's a little depressing. I can't see the mountain across the valley and thus have no idea whether the orange line has started down the slope. That's my thermometer for fall: when the orange line, and then the brown line, slides down into the valley, it's winter.

I had a long and amazing IM with a really appealing lady last night. Pretty, smart, has a dog but likes cats, has an iBook, does theatre and music. The only drawback? She lives in Massachusetts. She's at least willing to talk. God knows what I'm doing locally.
